Falun fire station built in 1911, has been converted and today is a office rental facility. The redesigned property needed to provide accessibility to both customers and employees. A lift was to be carefully placed in this unique environment.

Four floors

Three major factors were to be taken into consideration: the building´s old age, the open environment and the number of stops (4). A lift combining glass and steel panels between stops was customized to fit the space and to fulfill the customer design expectations.
